This place is heaven on earth. A privately owned sculpture garden with a fabulous collection of contemporary art works, a great café / shop, a commercial gallery space with a great programme of shows and the most magnificent tropical garden.
Taking a walk through the lush greenery and wild undergrowth, you stumble upon sculpture and installations by world-renowned artists alongside local makers. The James Tyrell Sky Space is a particular highlight for me - a contemplative, meditation-inducing room with a hole in the roof, so can sit down, look up and watch the clouds roll by. On a sunny day, the blue sky against the bright, white walls is a heady combination - heart lifting + energy boosting - this place is a must-see if you’re in West Cornwall.
Admission is £9 for adults but you can buy a season ticket for £35
